Teacher education study programme secondary level I:
As a student, you have the opportunity to earn the authorisation to teach at the secondary level 1 in Switzerland by completing this study programme at both the University of Konstanz and the PH Thurgau (university of education Thurgau). Please apply directly to the PH Thurgau.
Teacher education study programme, secondary level II
University graduates (with first state examination for secondary teachers, Master of Education) from the University of Konstanz have the opportunity to complete the Master of Advanced Studies in Secondary and Higher Education within two semesters. This master’s programme prepares you to teach at the German "Gymnasium" level (secondary education) or at secondary schools in Switzerland. Please apply directly to the PH Thurgau.
